Now this is a interesting and fascinating piece, I can't really say what is going on but but is mind captivating.

The balance of the picture is near perfect. The flow is omnidirectional. From the coil to the left and right and into the coil form both directions. It is like a moment of powerful movement trapped into a single frame, flow of time seized.

I have to commend the artist for he beautiful work on reflection. They are amazing and work perfectly in this picture. They are in the right angle and just soft enough.

The shades of colors under the objects soften the harshness of the strong white background that glows around the picture. they are a nice detail that brings up the picture from the background.

But the most interesting technical execution is the depth of field. It is balanced and gives lots of depth and interest to the objects. The blur and fade on the furthest stripes give a nice focus on the spiral shape that controls the picture.

Scores:

Vision 4:
The vision is great and interesting, but it is missing that something that would boost it to 4½. I can't put my finger on to it. But something in this already near perfect vision seems lacking, some minute accent.

Originality 4½:
This piece in itself is something you see often in the real of rendered object art. Using round shapes, nurbs and bending is often something that many artist want to stay away from due to their complexity and change of going horribly wrong. So doing a piece that has the sole task of studying these methods is original and rare.

Technique 4½:
I can clearly see that the artist paid more attention to reflection and depth of field on this picture than the others in the collection. But the technical mastery that is already on display is amazing.

Impact 4:
This piece has lot of impact and depth for the mind to study, but as I mentioned on the vision paragraph there is something missing, some minute accent. Maybe it is the angle of the object? Something that makes me feel like I want to change the picture somehow, to look around it a bit, study it from some other direction.
I am having hard time figuring it out, it could be a small change in the angle of view, power of the light, size. I just can not say what it is, but it is something.
