I keep coming back to this piece, over and over again. I have a hard time staying away from it.
Last time I saw a plug of similar design, it was attached to a sound system. But this type of plug always reminds me of the Matrix. You know, those plugs they shoved into a person's neck to send them into the system? So that, of course, brings me to the thought... Plug yourself in for music! Feel that bass amplify your pulse and the music dance over your skin and through your body! Feel your mind melt from the power of the music that's dancing through you! It'd be like being in a room with speakers for walls, only better.
I like your Chromatic Series because of the colours, but i look at this one and I think that maybe you were afraid to pump the colour up in it. The colours seem to be just hightlights and not quite as daring as a few of your other pieces. This does not take away from the piece, I just think that maybe there could be more if the colours popped more. Of course, it could be that this is colour that is created when light shines through coloured glass, and if this is the case, then it's just perfect.
I agree with ~Central01Order. The round edges and circular design flows very well with the colour, and they tie in very well with your straight edges. You did a very good job in balancing these two lines instead of marrying yourself to one and sticking to it. The colours bring out both the straight and curved edges I think, and help pull together the overall image.
You managed to take what could be a very ordinary (and rather boring) object and make it interesting. On top of that, you made the said object beautiful.

Very well done.
